Mussie Tussie
A Victorian art of expressing yourself in the language of flowers was called a Tussie Mussie. For example, the red rose is True Love, Lavender is Devotion and the Pink Rose is Grace. Elegant ladies of the time would carry Tussie Mussies to fend off unpleasant smells while taking their daily stroll and over time, the Tussie Mussie became a popular fashion accessory.
I started calling them Mussie Tussie because I like the way it sounded and I can't quite revert back to the original name, it still smells the same but used by a different name.
Our Mussie Tussie is a sweet dried Lavender bouquet with a rose in the middle surrounded by Lavender and finished with a Lavender ribbon. This delicate bouquet is the perfect size for a flower girl or bridesmaid. Our large Mussie Tussies are 4" in diameter and 11" long.
We make a Mini Mussie that measures 2 1/2" in diameter and 4 1/2" long.
