What types of Lavender do you grow?

We have over 15 varieties of Lavender on our farm. We grow Agustifolias and Intermediate Lavender

*Augustifolia ~ This Lavender is used for culinary purposes and is well know in England and France as their main staple of Lavender. This is the most photographed Lavender on the web. These are a few of the Augustifolias grown on our farm, Melissa, Hidcote, Munstad, Folgate, Buenta Vista, Royal Velvet, Jean Davis, Miss Katherine, Royal Purple and many, many more.

          * Lavandins also known as Intermediate Lavenders ~ This is a very tall stemmed      Lavender with a pungent fragrance, also known as an aromatherapy Lavender. This is a very popular Lavender that is distilled in the US for it's essential oil. We grow Grosso, Provence and Dutch Mill.

When is Lavender in bloom?

  • The Augustifolias bloom first, starting mid-June and blooming until the end of June.
  • Lavendins will be in bloom through the month of July
